Meet Danny Ray,

a versatile and
experienced
musician

with a passion

for playing his

diverse repertoire.

Little did he know that his early exploration of jazz standards on the home organ would eventually shape a significant part of his musical journey, albeit thirty years later.

By the time he reached fourteen, armed with an electric guitar and microphone, he and his friends would regularly perform at the local youth club, recreating the sounds of punk rock bands like The Clash and The Damned. Danny’s bands, The Jailbreakers and No Matter What, played all over London and the South-East, opening for iconic acts such as Steve Marriot, Wilko Johnson and Roman Jugg.

In his mid-twenties, Danny left the big city gigging circuit and headed to India for a more relaxed approach to life and music. Two years later he returned to Europe, and while living in a camper van in the Austrian Alps, he met an enthusiastic gypsy jazz accordion player, and the tunes of yesteryear, sitting at the organ, returned to Danny full circle. Over a thousand concerts later, Danny Ray is now a sought-after musician for weddings, corporate events, and private parties.

With a vast repertoire spanning several decades and genres, Danny can create the perfect ambiance for any occasion, making memories to last a lifetime.
